HOLL GmbH is a production company in east of Germany that specializes in processing metal for mechanical engineering, medical and advertising technology, and heating and ventilation construction. After the reunification in 1989, the company as well as the machinery started to grow continuously. Today Holl GmbH is a recognized partner for sheet metal processing and the production of complete assemblies.
After an intensive market research, Holl GmbH decided to introduce the programming system of WiCAM for the control of their machinery at the beginning of 2020.
When asked about the advantages of WiCAM, Mrs. Rathmann, Managing Director of Holl GmbH, answered: “At the beginning we only had Trumpf machines, this changed with the purchase of a Bystronic Fiber Laser system in 2020. Already in the run-up it was clear to us that we need a programming system that can optimally control both manufacturers in combination with our Remmert warehouse as well as an interface to our ERP system. The programming system from WiCAM offered us exactly these possibilities. We were able to program our laser systems across manufacturers using WiCAM’s software.”
As soon as an order is created in the ERP system, an automatic data exchange takes place between our ERP system “BEOSYS” and the programming system “PN4000”. The PN4000 from WiCAM then generates the required NC programs in an ERP-controlled manner – the nestings are generated for the Trumpf TruLaser Fiber and can be passed on to the Bystronic ByStar with just a few mouse clicks through the postprocessor run in PN4000.
