Hadocut GmbH is a family-run company based in Kranenburg, Germany, that specialises in cutting and processing various materials using different production methods (waterjet, laser, plasma and oxyfuel). Since 2004, Hadocut has been using the PN4000 programming system from WiCAM – this guarantees manufacturer-independent programming, which always ensures that the best production process can be selected for each customer.
With increasing demand, managing director de Haas van Dorsser decided to make his own webshop available to his customers in 2018. For the calculation, he relied on WiCAM’s cloud-based calculation solution from the very beginning.
The parts are transferred from the self-developed web shop to WiCAM’s calculation tool via an API interface. Here, server-based external dimensions, weight and running time are precisely calculated for orders. The data determined from this is transferred back to the shop system in real time.
From this data, the exact sales price for each individual part is calculated in a few seconds. After the order has been placed via the webshop, it sends the data to the ERP system, from which the PN4000 programming system draws the data for production.
The managing director emphasises the great advantage of WiCAM’s programming system that it is a flexible system that can be adapted to every machine and every need.
