Another record year in 2017

2017 has seen the most successful year in the WiCAM GmbH history by a long way. In addition to significant sales and earnings growth in Germany and abroad, never before have we partnered so many new customers in a single year. Together with our existing customers such as Siemens, Otis, Class, Liebherr, we have pushed many new innovations in the field of IT integration in PPS / ERP systems, but also hardware related interfaces and links for storage and logistics systems. The Industry 4.0 or MES (Manufacturing Execution System) principles have been an integral part of the WiCAM PN line of products for years and are the manufacturing base of most industrial customers. With the constant development of new PostProcessors and enhancement of existing PostProcessors for the top manumacfurers such as Amada, Bystronic, Prima Power and Trumpf, WiCAM also has written PostProcessors for brand new manufacturers such as Eagle Laser and TTM. The overall focus is on solutions for current production processes such as combination machines, fiber lasers and bevel cutting. An area of signiifcant growth in machine components and machine control is the area of part removal and logistics. In addition to individual parts preparation / adaptation of the production method for suction cups, grippers, magnets and conveyor systems on the machines, the automatic transfer of production-relevant data for the following work processes is an integral part of the postprocessors. In the coming year, there will be major enhancements to the web calculation, the functionality will be usable via an API for each PPS system: https://www.wicam.com/products/web-applikation

During the 2018, WiCAM’s PN4000 newest development the fully integrated 3D interface will probably make WiCAM the first CAD / CAM / nesting system with standard 3D import.
