The year 2022 was a complete success for us in many respects. In addition to groundbreaking innovations in “PN4000” and the expansion of partnerships with machine manufacturers, we were able to record 2-digit sales growth compared to the previous year.
With this year’s introduction of our fully integrated bending solution in our programming system “PN4000” we lay the foundation for the continuous digitalization of future parts processing.
From the ERP system, to 3D processing, to material-optimized nesting – all on one interface. Our new power nesting routine combines optimization techniques and minimizes your material waste with AI – algorithms.
The relevance of delivery dates as well as the associated challenge of calculating exact prices is the linchpin for economic success in many companies. With our API interface, we have been offering our customers a cloud-based calculation solution for years.
The desire of many customers for ready-to-use tools in this segment has prompted us to release our own application for price calculation (PNCalculate) this year in addition to a standardized webshop solution.
After a break of almost three years, we presented all new developments at this year’s EuroBLECH and further expanded our partnerships with well-known machine manufacturers.
We were able to further expand the partnership with Xteg, which was started in 2021, in the current fiscal year and were very pleased to present this at this year’s trade fair as well.
In order to stay at the cutting edge of technology and to continue to lead the way in driving innovation, we continuously invested in new technologies, such as component recognition as well as machining via our AI. This will benefit not only us, but also our customers.
With the establishment of the WiCAM Foundation, the last will of company founder Harald Wilkesmann came true. Thus, in the future, a part of the company’s profits will flow into the promotion and research of software in German-speaking countries.
The majority shares of WiCAM GmbH were taken over by Mr. Timo Eigenblut, long-time managing director of the WiCAM group of companies. With this step, WiCAM GmbH remains in private hands and guarantees customers, partners and machine manufacturers absolute manufacturer neutrality also for the future
The goals for the coming year have already been set and implementation is in full swing. In addition, we will continue to invest a lot of energy in the further development of our base. Probably the most important point here is the expansion of our existing team. Our employees are the reason why we are where we are. Of course, we plan to continue expanding our staff in the coming year.
