Annual Review 2019

2019 was another record year for WiCAM GmbH with a further increase in sales compared to 2018. With the 11th increase in sales in a row, sales climbed to a new all-time high.

In addition to many new functions in the PN4000, we are proud of significant economic and technical growth in the area of ​​PPS / ERP connectivity, web applications, 3D integration and bend simulation.

We are also pleased that with WiCAM France we have taken another step to further expand our European business. In addition to continued high demand for our top product PN4000, we recorded a significant demand for our bending solution. For this reason, we have continuously strengthened our team in this area. In December of this year we officially presented our bending team with which we will start the new year. The storage logistics provider Remmert and the software manufacturer WiCAM seal a strategic cooperation at the Blechexpo 2019 to strengthen the development of holistic solutions for agile material logistics and fully automated part sorting for sheet metal processing productions.

Due to the high demand, an increase in our staff is also planned for 2020. We would like to thank our employees very much for the work they have done and our customers and partners for the trust they have placed in us.

We would like to present some highlights from our current daily business:

Siemens has been relying on WiCAM software solutions worldwide since the 1990s. At the beginning of the year, the Siemens plant in Mexico also decided to rely on WiCAM for bending. In the second quarter of this year, the Siemens plant in Mexico was completely converted to WiCAM’s bending software.

For decades, Krones has developed into a globally operating industrial group with production sites around the globe. In the first half of the year, the tenth plant in Hungary was put into operation. We are proud that we were able to realize this project together with Krones. In summer, we will commission a new Trumpf TruMatic 7000 FMC (with Sheetmaster) there. Krones uses WiCAM in all sheet metal processing sites.
