2018 was again a record year for WiCAM GmbH with a further increase in sales in regards to 2017. We are particularly pleased to welcome many new group customers and larger medium-sized companies.

Day after day, we consistently developed our software solutions and are pleased that we were able to make the impossible possible with our customers in 2018.

In March 2018, WiCAM began selling the PN4000-Unfold 3D module. Unfold is a PN4000 integrated module for the direct takeover and preparation of 3D models for nesting. A short time later the fully automatic processing of 3D assemblies followed. The new function ‘Assembly Loop’ automatically processes assemblies in 3D files and converts the individual sheet metal parts into flat parts. After the automatic nesting, the programs for the NC machines are immediately generated.

In addition to many new functions in the PN4000, we are proud of the significantly extended functionality of the web products. The standardized API interface ensures fast exchange of all desired information. Together with Laserhub current solutions and basics for future projects were developed. Here WiCAM provides software for automatic costing, nesting and capacity planning online.

Due to the high demand, we have expanded our staff. We are looking forward starting the new year with a strong team. We sincerely would like to thank our employees for their work and our customers and partners for their trust in us.

EuroBLECH 2018 in Hannover
