At this year’s Blechexpo, WiCAM presented the current development status of the PN4000 with a revised power nesting routine and a fully integrated bending simulation. In addition, PNCalculate was presented, a cloud-based calculation solution that can calculate internal prices in seconds via an API interface.
The trend at this year’s Blechexpo focussed on the topic of “full automation”. Good personnel are hard to find, many of our customers want to counteract the lack of personnel with more automation.
The most common answer to the question of what a programming system must offer in these times: “A complete solution that offers interfaces to all common formats and PPS/ERP systems as well as perfect communication between machine and software – preferably unmanned.”
Thanks to a detailed configuration such as “optimum sheet determination” and the integration of “multiple burners” for individual parts or entire assemblies, the nesting machine is ideal for sheet metal processors with high material volumes and automated processes. In the current development stage, our Power Nesting Routine achieves an increase in efficiency of up to 15% in material utilisation compared to conventional nesting strategies in individual cases.
We would like to thank all customers and interested parties for the lively demand, the pleasant discussions and a great week overall.
The next trade fairs at which WiCAM will be present will take place in spring 2024 in Holland and France. Of course, we will also be represented at the upcoming EuroBLECH in Hanover.
