Sheet metal parts automatically created from your Smartphone

News, 28. June 2017

WiCAM Benelux have recently completed a major project with great success for our customer Mitsubishi Elevator in the Netherlands.

The project involved the generation of sheet metal parts from measurements taken from the construction site and then processed with a business app. This information is then processed fully automatically, producing all the parts on nests and NC Codes for their Prima Power machines with 100% success. Unique requirements such as Engraving, administration of parts, tracking and tracing, automated feedback from the shop floor are all handled with total automation. This is the result of a successful partnership involving the customer and 3 suppliers. 10 years ago this would have been impossible but today it is a reality!
