The latest version of PNBend, a software module from PN4000, includes several significant enhancements that further optimise the programming and bending process.
By updating the calculation of the bending sequence, you can reduce the number of tools required in many cases and save over 50% of the setup time on the machine in individual cases – significantly increasing efficiency.
Even with very complex components, it is now possible to perform an automatic bending sequence calculation.
‘Another new feature is automatic withdrawal calculation. Previously, a withdrawal had to be created for each individual bend. This always involved additional programming work. With the new feature, you can simply import the desired component, select the appropriate bending machine and start the automatic calculation. This means that a drawback is only generated when it is really necessary, saving you time during programming.’

This update also includes other quality of life improvements, such as the ability to undo certain actions within the software. For the first time, you can see what has been changed and, with the help of a time stamp, when this change was made.
PNBend is manufacturer-independent and enables the programming of press brakes from all well-known manufacturers such as Trumpf, Bystronic, LVD, Amada and many more, which allows our bending simulation to be used in mixed machine parks.
